Responsibilities:Significant field exploration, client and project coordination, analysis, technical review and report writing. Conduct field investigations and site observations and assessments Oversee drilling operations including soil sampling, the installation of groundwater monitoring wells and/or piezometers, and other instrumentation Complete soil and rock core logs utilizing engineering nomenclature for engineering applications. Assist in the preparation of technical reports, permit applications, and proposals Support other projects within Geotechnical and/or Environmental Unit (e.g., geophysical work, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, etc.) Daytime travel and overnight (up to a week or more) travel required, as needed Overtime required, as needed Have and maintain a valid driver s license, work outdoors in various weather conditions and frequently lift 35 pounds Knowledge BS in Geology or related field and qualification to become registered as a Geologist in the State of Kentucky. 5 years of experience preferred but not mandatory Completion of OSHA 40-Hr Hazwoper training - preferred.
