About the Job Linc Facility Services, an ABM company, is a facility management service company and a nationwide provider of operations and support services. We have immediate an immediate opening for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic at our Berea, KY Location. Essential Functions Operates, maintains and repairs assigned mechanical, electrical and building systems in such a manner as to insure optimal customer relations. Thoroughly and accurately completes reactive and preventive maintenance paperwork. Assists in emergencies, as needed. Completes assigned PM's and reactive maintenance repairs requiring, but not limited to, the following skills: * Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning * Mechanical Repairs - pumps, motors, etc. * Plumbing * Electrical * Instrumentation Essential Requirements - High school or technical school graduate. - Experience with Vertical Mills/Lathes or Electrical (certifications a plus). - At least three years previous experience in a mechanical or electrical setting. - Knowledge of methods, practices, and techniques associated with industry/military safety practices. - Knowledge of methods, practices, and techniques associated with industry/military hazardous material control (MSDS, hazmat, hazwaste, etc.) - Knowledge of the equipment, tools, and materials used in mechanical/electrical/HVAC maintenance. - Ability to keep straightforward records of activities performed. - Some experience with Preventive Maintenance Programs. - Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings.
