Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, design, and modify various mechanical and electrical components and systems used in production, laboratory, office, and utility areas. Examples are: hydraulic, pneumatic systems, mechanical drives, bearings, fans, pumps, conveyors systems, motor controls and electrical field devices, AC/DC variable speed drives. Generate, modify, and perform preventive maintenance procedures.

This position may require working:

* Overtime
* On-call
* Any shift that is available including, but not limited to, rotating, first, second and/or third shift

Qualified applicants will be required to take and pass 3M testing as a part of the selection process.

Qualifications

Basic Qualification:

* Possess a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience OR a two year technical degree in a maintenance field

Preferred Qualification:

* Experience troubleshooting and problem solving in a manufacturing environment
* Experience troubleshooting electronic and/or mechanical equipment
* Basic computer knowledge
* Experience running basic machining equipment (turning, milling, welding)
