Position Summary
Omnicare a CVS Company is looking for a Production Supervisor with experience in a production environment. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Production Supervisor oversees and monitors the implementation, and maintenance of production related standard operating procedures and work instructions.  Works closely with quality groups to ensure strict compliance with good manufacturing practices guidelines at all times.  Prepares documentation, reports,and standard operating procedures as required. Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment, and employees in producing quality products.  Will assign personnel appropriately to meet required schedule needs. May monitor and control labor and capital expenditures.  Selects,develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
 
Key Responsibilities: 

Supervises personnel, operations, and activities related to production.
Perform investigations and associated documentation required for CAPA program.
Monitor,report, and investigate as appropriate production quality and productivity performance.
Take an active role in elimination of non-conformances through root cause analysis and preventive action implementation.
Periodic review of logs, batch records, and other required documentation to ensure compliance.
Scheduling of production activities in accordance with Master Schedule and internal requirements.
Monitor production supply inventory and request procurement as required.
Ability to perform at or above established quality and productivity standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Effectively communicate and flow down objective to all assigned personnel.
Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA, FDA, OSHA, and EPA.

Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary by location.
 
Shift Hours
3 rd  shift hours. Sunday - Thursday 11:00 pm- 7:30 am
