Responsibilities

Managers will have responsibility for:

•Defining test strategies and approaches for large, complex or specialised client test delivery;
•Managing client test delivery, ensuring the testing meets quality, time and cost objectives
•Providing advice on testing tools and leveraging them effectively within a testing activity
•Building and developing long term trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across our client organisations
•Reviewing test processes and practices and coaching the team on enhancement opportunities;
•Working with our industry and proposition Testing leads to develop & implement existing & new go-to-market propositions
•Contribute to Deloitte's thought leadership in Testing
•Act as a role model - help to develop and mentor junior resources
•To have a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm's commitment to creating a more inclusive culture

Location: London with occasional domestic and international travel

Suggested work pattern: Permanent full- time

Your professional experience

To qualify for the role Managers must have:

•Experience of managing some or all of; functional system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing or non-functional testing including performance and automation
•Experience of managing, strengthening and broadening key client relationships
•Strong leadership skills
•A good awareness of the role that testing tools play in the software development lifecycle, the types of tools and where it is appropriate and useful to apply them
•Client-facing experience
•ISTQB Foundation Level certificate (or equivalent experience)
•Test management tool expertise (such as HP ALM)
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•Exceptional communication, presentation, business writing and professional skills, including being able to liaise with both technical and business contacts at our clients.
•Proven technical ability - combined with strong business acumen
•Acute attention to detail
•Comfortable working in a fast-paced and often changeable client environment
•Strong academic record
•Demonstrable rapid career progression to-date

Additional desirable experience includes:

•A proven track record in a top tier consultancy 
•Experience in developing testing solutions and value-add propositions and/or taking these to market
